Ponga cross section

I'm still in blip desperation mode after such a busy week at Dr D's med school class reunion ...which was such fun and so very enjoyable .
We've spent time in the garden today and this is an image of the cross section of one of the ponga cross beams on the pergola right outside our kitchen. Another,  a little further down the pergola has been used by a pair of starlings for their nesting and breeding.
Large gives a much crisper view.
