What a scorcher of a weekend it's been!

And I hope you've all had time to enjoy it, in some shape or form.

Me?

Well as a Leo I'm supposed to be a sun worshiper but really I hate to lie in the sun, I'd much rather be doing something or going somewhere.

So that's what we did, we went first to Elie, a millionaires paradise and a quick look at the properties for sale confirms exactly that!

There are lots of water sports you can try, without breaking the bank.

We opted for a leisurely stroll around the harbour, we weren't getting wet this time as we had a 2nd stop off on our itinerary.

Anstruther

Now no trip to Anstruther is complete without a visit to the famous Fish & Chip Restaurant. There's usually a lengthy queue and today was no exception.

Fortunately for us the Q to sit in and eat was far shorter than the one to take-away.

The food as usual was excellent and with side portions of mushy peas and onion rings, washed down with a coke and a cup of tea (well I was driving) there was just enough room for ice cream too.

A round trip of 116 miles for a chippy tea but it was an exceptionally good one.

Even Tom Hanks agrees, he's been there too, though not today.
