The making of a nob

It took me all day to create a rather phallic looking brass nob on the lathe. Clearly I have a lot to learn.
It was fun. I got covered in brass shavings, at one stage the metal shot out of the chuck and across the workshop, and I had to get Jo to remove a brass splinter from my toe.
