Translated "milk tart " (which is not the same as a custard tart) is a favourite traditional dish  in the Cape and should be made with milk that has been infused with a cinnamon stick. Using vanilla is just not on in my opinion! The final touch is a light sprinkling of cinnamon and caster sugar.
