Noosa

Left Byron Bay this morning after a swim and breakfast And headed out for our first long stretch, about 4 hour’s drive up to Noosa. Weather was a bit varied on route. When it rains here, it really rains ! We drove along the Bruce highway, a name that pleases me very much.

We are sitting on the balcony of our hotel in Noosa, looking out across the bay. Very warm still and very humid. Similar to Byron, Noosa doesn’t seem to have any high rise buildings, but is a much « classier » resort I think, with less of a young crowd maybe. Had a beer and a wander along the beach. Lots of weddings taking place in among the trees. The tide was out as you can see.
