Solar eclipse in Newcastle

We were heading towards Newcastle city centre to observe the eclipse from a public screen, erected by the Grey monument, with a live feed from the Kielder observatory. But as we were waiting at the metro station we started getting some brilliant views of the approaching eclipse, made visible due to enough cloud, but not too much so you couldn't see it at all. Was very pleased to be able to capture it for real.
