People and process.
Found myself at Salts Mill again today (I do go there A LOT!) and bought a book for little tiny Lupes... The Queen's Hat ... which blows oorrrrf her head and the Queen and her soldiers chase it all over London.... loved the thought of a windy day and soldiers running all over London chasing a hat......I will enjoy reading it to little one as I'm orf to London tomorrow for a few days - yaay!
This is a model of Salts Mill of course and part of the People and Process exhibition on there. In the foreground in real life is the river Aire, the grey bit behind the 'New Mill' is the canal and behind the building at the rear is the Leeds to Lancaster trainline... fab positioning Sir Titus!
The only part of the mill I've been inside is the rear building, Salts Mill, which houses a brilliant book shop amongst many other things.. some of the other buildings are taken up by businesses and residential accommodation but I think a large part is unused - maybe not?
I will be light on comments and replies over the next few days... whooo hooo love a trip to the capital! :)
