Klingatron

This is street artist Klingatron in Glasgow, working on a tiger to be a friend for his already well-known panda. He told me he was being funded by Glasgow City Council - I suspect if it was Edinburgh, the councillors would have sent in the steam cleaners by now.

I'd ventured into  Weegieland for Joan Armatrading's farewell tour. Unwittingly, I'd managed to end up with tickets in the front row, which was lucky, given that she'd done away with all the usual rock star trappings - like a band or fancy lighting or anything else to detract from her guitar and keyboard, some witty banter, and her voice.  But what a voice. Wondrous, it was.
