Burnt offerings

I had a great afternoon with friends in Bradford on Avon today and there are some really nice, but quite personal photos. I got back to the kitchen at home and remembered this dishwasher fail from this morning. Should have done the pan by hand, but the burned on, baked on sauce was brittle and lace-like and I kept wondering what it would look like backlit. After lying an Angle-poise-alike flat on the floor with a sheet of kitchen roll and piece of A4 paper over the rim of the shade, I had my answer. The pan was from the Mister's lunch yesterday, I hope he didn't eat it.
