Sprint Orienteering

We were fortunate to gain access to RAF Linton on Ouse for a sprint orienteering event. The first event was a qualifier racing around buildings and parkland followed by a chasing start final.

The key is making quick navigational decisions. Despite an error on both the qualifier and the final I enjoyed my runs although I do prefer the classic longer distances.

We were restricted as to where we could take photos hence this one of the finish control.

Struggling for time at the moment. Will catch up as soon as I can.
