Next Year....

I found these snowshoes in the thrift store for $5.  A lucky find.  The shoes are signed by "Mme Abel Pelletier et fils."  So far the only reference I can find on the internet is this. 

I never had the chance to use them in the two years I've owned them.  Perhaps life circumstances will be different in this coming year....

We had some snowfall last night.  I ran outside this morning and used the quickly melting snow as a backdrop for this shot.
