En pointe

We were definitely keeping ourselves on our toes today - lots of hard work around the house, which included emptying half the eaves in our attic bedroom. During the course of finding old photographs, Christmas decorations and (oddly) long forgotten underwear we  also came across TSM's ballet shoes from her youth. Not only did they still fit, she also did a very creditable en pointe, which I have to say impressed me enormously.

Made some very nice mezze tonight and settled down to a movie with the last of the chateau neuf du pape. Good day ...
