Day 4: Dude Ranch, Bandera, Texas
Woke up early and took a quick dip in the hotel pool before heading off to see the Alamo - a historic site of a battle between Texas and Mexico that I should probably know more about.
We then headed to Rancho Cortez, the cowboy ranch we have been looking forward to staying on for ages. It's so nice to be somewhere so chilled. We had our afternoon ride on the horses, which was actually much better than I was expecting after my experience in New Zealand about 7 years ago. Dinner was then strictly at 6 followed by campfire songs and s'mores. Ideal.
