Short night, long day

Turned out to be an interesting afternoon and good evening in Glasgow, but worked late and then couldn't sleep very well....slightly odd hotel with the emphasis on cool gadgets and styling-could set the lighting to change colours and themes in the room and get the bathroom pod glowing blue or red. This collection of lights was one of the styling points.
Quite liked the place although not very sound proofed rooms.
Off to the conference and did my talk and chatted to the helpers etc but no more than that....wasn't feeling very outgoing and just wanted to get home after only about 5 hours sleep. Ran into long queues at the train station as it was a home rugby match at Murrayfield and the train was packed, but eventually got home and did some shortlisting then had a snooze before collecting L&M from airport. Amazing to have daylight, well sunset, at 6.30pm tonight and lovely sunshine all day....there's hope that will soon be properly spring. We went to Field for dinner and very nice it was too, although I've definitely eaten too much today!
