Mr. E.

Mrs W and I spent the day doing a Blues Boot Camp. Tiring but great fun.  I

Out of the blue Mr E texts to say he will be home around 10pm. He had been visiting his girlfriend and had been offered a free lift home. More time with Miss H, a cheaper journey back and free grub. A winning combo.

It was great to see him and hear his theories on politics, Clarkson, segregation in society, the plight of the homeless, his hopes and ambitions. Fascinating and great fun.

I have a sneaking suspicion that this will be a case of the young man returning from University to be surprised and delighted by how much his parents have learned in the meantime.
