surprise spring bouquet

When Kent and I were out picking up a few odds and ends, he bought me this lovely spring bouquet!  I am going to have to get that t-shirt he saw on-line that says "I'm not spoiled.  My husband just loves me!"  :-)  

To add to the bouquet we got three pincushion flowers to add to it.  I must have had my head in the sand as I don't remember seeing these flowers before.  Of course when we got home I had to go on-line and read all about them!

I spent my morning at a Quaker memorial service for the wife of a friend of mine.  She was only a few months older than me. She had been sickly as long as I have known her, which is over 15 years, but she had and awesome attitude of always being cheerful and smiling no matter her health.
