Serving ...

Today I was on powerzone at church, and with the kids we were looking at Cain and Abel, and the difference of their hearts, has been a good reflection for me, where is my heart at, is there anything there just bubbling away getting ready to explode? or is my heart like Abel's ready to serve and give the best of me to God?
I know I have a strong desire to serve God and give him the best of me, and step out in obedience to him, but as I have reflected today I think we all have moments where there is anger or something bubbling away that takes us away from giving our best to God. These are the times I think we need to actually stop and come to God and ask for help, I hope I can remember to do this when I need to.
