We were up at an obscene time for a Saturday morning as Lily was going off on a day out with the Salvation Army and was due to be picked up any time after 7.45!

We decided a Cheeky Breakfast was in order before swimming as the pickings at home were slim. Very pleasant that was too although I won't be condoning crisps for Red every morning!

Swimming next and then we gave Red the choice of doing anything he wanted. He chose going home for Sweety Saturday! As a result we spent the day in the garden - we moved the chickens and MrRoly 'built' a raised edge around them as we are going to fill their run with bark to try and prevent it turning into a mud bath when it rains.

Smallest requested Pizza Express for tea, as there were only 3 of us, we got a window table (the 6 person tables are all on the middle of the room) and watched a group of youngsters putting their relatively little wooden sailing boat 'away' - folding sails and wotnot.

We rounded the day off with a fire to burn various cuttings from the day and toasted marshmallows at Red's request. Perfect.
