If only ...

Up early for a walk in the Loch Portain district - the remote NE corner of North Uist. The archaeologcla ste we aimed for was, n reality, a disappointment but the scenery was not. The view from the top of the hills there to the north was stunning and this picture only captures a bit of it. the aficionados of the Isles will instantly recognize the distinctive shape of Toe Head on Harris - all slightly spoilt by a fish farm.
Back then promptly for an afternoon in front of the rugby and what an afternoon it turned out to be . I can't believe the dejection on players faces when they had just won 55-35. Not 100% enthused myself. As the commentators kept saying, the margins are so small.
That said the saddest expression of all is probably "If only..."
