Millennium Tower

Up she rises!  This is the beginning of the new Millennium Tower being constructed in downtown Boston, just a few blocks from our apartment.  When it is finished, it will be 685 feet tall -- the tallest residential building in the city.  Right now, it's only about 18 or 20 floors tall.  When it's completed, there will be a total of 60 stories, and it will contain 442 luxury condominiums, a gym, indoor swimming pool, private dining room for residents, a screening room, and library.  There will also be retail space, and a supermarket.  Amazingly, even though it's far from complete, 70% of the apartments have already been sold!
