Frog frolicking

Today has been another sunny day, bit more chilly than yesterday though. Surprisingly enough we don't feel to bad after our gardening marathon yesterday.........!

I pre prepared the potatoes and veg for todays Sunday dinner, and cleaned the kitchen floor this morning before driving over to pick up mum and bring her back to ours for the day.

When we got back it was quite pleasant and hub had got the chairs out of the garage, and put them on the patio, their first appearance of the year! We actually had our lunch outside, mum had her micro fleece and scarf on though ;-) whilst we were sat we could hear the frogs jumping around and we were treated to a real frog chorus! That was my cue to go and get my camera! I perched on the bridge over our little pond watching their antics, and yes, finally spotted some frogspawn on the bottom, hurrah!! Hubs been busy planting up our second earlies (potatoes), the greenhouse is starting to fill up :-)

We have just finished our roast beef, Yorkshire pudd, roast potatoes, carrots, green beans, broccoli, mange tout and onion gravy :-) and finishing our cuppas before I run mum back home in time for her date with Mr Selfridge :-)
