#Lent with @CAFOD: show them marvellous things

“As in the days when you came out of the land of Egypt, I will show them marvellous things.” (Micah 7:14-15, 18-20)

Today's reflection encourages us to share something good God has done. I spent the day working with some amazing young leaders from CAFOD at Flame2. It was a really enjoyable day, with so many highlights:

1. Listening to, and then meeting, Cardinal Luiz "Chito" Tagle.
2. Seeing the Wembley Arena light up with the phone lights of 8000 young people.
3. Watching bishops and young people standing, sitting then kneeling together, side by side, on the Wembley stage during Adoration.
4. Being able to sit back while some amazing young people spoke to other young people about CAFOD's climate campaign.
5. All the young people clapping together, after the CAFOD gappers had shared their experiences, in response to Vera Babun's statement, "Peace, in order to clap, takes two hands. One hand can never clap."
