Not quite a rose but an Anemone

A beautiful day but chilly out of the sun.  This flower didn't want to open fully but I do love them and will photograph them numerous times over the next few weeks.  

I am enthralled by the programmes about Richard III and although this isn't a White Rose, I think it suits the re-burial of such a fascinating King.  Was he evil?  I doubt we'll ever know.
