Free Motion Quilting Make-up Purse

A finished product is often a rarity, so today I am proudly presenting my patchwork purse with free motion quilting blipfoto here.

You are supposed to do the free motion quilting with the feed dogs down on your machine in order to draw as you sew with the needle, but my machine works better with the dogs up. The operation would probably be smoother if I had a supreme slider under the machine, but I haven't bought
 one yet.  Although, the machine is a basic Viking model from the very early 70's, it is built to last for decades.
