Richard III reinterment

A proud day to be in Leicester.

A wonderful atmosphere in the city today. We checked out the route from The clock tower, up high street to Jubilee Square and then to the guildhall and round the cathedral for Victor to see the statue and popped into the Richard III museum. After a cuppa tea in Silver Arcade where I worked for ten years, we then chose an empty spot near the Curve. Victor perched on top of a post box for the best view. He loved seeing the 2 Knights in full Armour on horseback and said that was his favourite bit of the day. Incredible day. So glad to be part of it.
