The special relationship

There are some days you never want to forget. Blip helps us to keep those special days forever.

Today is such a day.

I've been commentating at the iconic Crystal Palace athletics stadium today for Age UK in the last of their 10k series.

The stadium needs some tender loving care. There is a scoreboard that is rotting away. The stories and history it could tell. Such a sadness.

BUT

I met the most amazing group of young people from the Spruce Creek High School Jazz Band, from Port Orange Florida USA.

They are over here for a week, doing 3 performances, and we were so very lucky to have one of those performances.

It was a cold day for them and it's hard to play a wind instrument with cold fingers.
Fortunately I'd packed a lot more gloves than I needed so 8 band members got a glove each
