Island in the Stream

Island in the Stream, poetic license, Island in our river really, the view across the estuary to the Island of Arran , sometimes said to represent Scotland in miniature, a beautiful place.  She is often said to resemble a sleeping giant in the river and today when it is calm and serene and the sun shines it evident for all to see.  There is still a smidge of snow on Goat Fell but not obvious in this shot sadly
