Time for bed...

Didn't quite know where to start this morning,so many things to sort out.
Put the spring calving cows out the shed to the field before any more think of calving. They fairly enjoyed being out,jumping around kicking their heels. Wonder how long it is before they are huddled at the gate wanting back in if tonight's Country File forecast is correct.
Went and got a calf to twin on to yesterdays cow,and the heifer that calved last night needed her calf sucked. And she refused to let her milk down when I tried to milk some into a bottle for the calf !
The ewes were spitting out lambs last night. Every paddock was full this morning. They had to be shifted out before the ewes came in tonight again.
Mind you, at least the sun kept shining !
