Rushing heather
In full colour now, the heather near our pond reminds me of a wave on the ocean, as it seems to be rushing towards the grass - and onwards!
It had better be careful, as I am looking very hard at everything in this garden - and some of it may be changing - or getting chopped out!!
Not these, though, as they provide such a joyous burst of colour from mid-winter onwards, and need very little care!
A special church service was held this morning to dedicate the new lights inside the church. They have been give in memory of a much respected and sadly missed member of our congregation, whose family were there to mark the occasion. I think this is a wonderful memorial and we will always be very grateful for the lights, which make such a difference to our church.
A little gardening this afternoon, enjoying the sunshine, and yes, another cup of tea outdoors!
