Kári, the physics genius

He's in the Icelandic Physics Olympiad team!  After the physics competition at The University of Iceland he was in 8th place, but a few of those above him won't be able to attend The International Physics Olympiad (for age-related and other reasons) so he and one of his classmates from The Akureyri Junior College, Rúnar Unnsteinsson (who was #7 in the competition) were given the possibility of accepting a place in the team. Kári said yes, and now it looks like he'll be preparing for this exciting trip to India next Juli.  Yikes!

In other news:  We've had really nice weather here in Akureyri during the weekend, especially today when the temperature reached 10°C in the center of town. I love Spring-days like this one :)
