Orange glow

My 10 year old son came to me with an orange peel and said that it can be used as a candle, my first reaction was that it couldn't as it was too moist and there is no wick. But he then continued to tell me if I poured a small amount of oil into the 'peel cup' and waited 10 minutes for the oil to soak into the pith which he had experely left attached, then this would act as the wick. And sure enough it burned just like a 'tea-light' for about 30 mins and smelt lovely.
