And, a city grows up

I have lived in Bellevue, Washington for almost 20 years. In that time, I have seen a city grow up. From being a 'burb to Seattle, and finally growing into our own city, it's been mindblowing to lose one's landmarks as new landmarks of tall buildings rise.

My neighborhood is but a short walk downtown but my neighborhood is seeing a lot of changes as well. One after another, my neighbor's houses are being torn down to build what I consider a mansion. I find it fascinating to tour these new homes as they are under construction. Today, I toured a house that had floor to ceiling windows and had this view of downtown. Dramatic!
