One Or Two More Shades of Grey

So the Coloured Pencil Project is complete for now and Boris has monopolised  our time somewhat.  

It was sad to see Blipfoto become derailed somewhat and also a bit of a surprise given the very recent association with Polaroid.  I wasn't wowed by this association to be honest. Polaroid are no longer the innovative force in the photographic industry they once were. I seem to remember reading that the company only employs 17 people in their HQ.  More recently the type of product I have seen bearing the mark has been limited to low end printers and flat screen TV's.   Having said that, it isn't fair to diminish their pedigree and I felt it only fair to give the partnership a chance to evolve.  That went well didn't it?  It is hard not to be cynical under these circumstances but I can't influence anything that may or not be going on the background.  I have read voluminous comments and hypothesis about the partnership and the intentions of the persons/institutions involved in the whole business but at the end of the day - it is all conjecture.  I wish Blipfoto, Joe and the former staff members well. As for the future - who knows? Certainly not me.
