Sunday , Salford and Sunset ........

Another glorious day spent in the garden.
We had tickets to see The Spaghetti Western Orchestra at the Lowry Theatre last night, so we drove over to Salford Quays. It was really busy, due to Soccer Aid being hosted at Manchester United's ground.
The show was superb, the last in their current tour, but if you like that sort of thing, catch them next time , for a really fun evening.
This is a shot of the Salford Millenium bridge , which links Salford Quays to Media City (the new home of the BBC ) . The Goodyear airship was circling the area, taking aerial shots for the coverage of the game. Manchester United's ground is just tucked under the bridge in the bottom left hand corner .
A great weekend, and a lovely sunset to drive home in too.
