Hidden beauty

A bright, sunny day and getting warmer.

After a lovely weekend with family as we celebrated Eleanor's birthday, I find myself with a heavy cold. Still, I was glad I was able to be part of all that happened.

A quick trip out in the sunshine (a mere cold won't stop me) and we looked at the Fithie Burn, from the old Toll Bridge. Just to the side of the Burn, at this point, is an old Mill - now the site of a micro brewery.

On the left, is one of our local roads which we often drive on but you don't really see this lovely stretch of Burn from there as you drive by. It makes me think that there is much hidden beauty, not only in nature, but in people - which we only see when we take the time to stop and look.
