Giant alambic

Grasse - on the French Riviera hills - is known as 'the world capital of perfumes'. This is where all the major brands of perfumes are made. One of the oldest factories is called Parfumerie Fragonard. The name is honoring the 18th century painter, who was born in Grasse. They have an interesting museum. This giant alambic stands outside their modern outlet on the outskirts of the village in a valley.
