The Sun Under Water

A group us went down to the duck pond just outside Woodbrooke this morning to watch the eclipse. I tried to get a photo of it reflected in the water but the weather was cloudy and the surface wasn't still, so not very good results. But the eclipse itself was truly memorable, especially the cold at the moment of total occlusion. It made me realise how frightening it must have been, not to know what was happening or if the sun would reappear.
