The old hand ferry

At Symonds Yat on the old Welsh, English border over the River Wye this hand pulled ferry is still used. It is a beautiful and well known picturesque location that was very peaceful on a Sunday afternoon at the beginning of Spring but mobbed in the Summer. Boringly, the same journey by road only takes ten minutes. I know which one I prefer.
