Lapland Airports

It is the start of our winter holidays, i.e. flying via Helsinki to Rovaniemi in Lapland. Seems to be the official airport of Santa Claus and a few kilometers outside is also the Santa Claus village. Our skibus does bot stop there, so we can only use our imagination what the village looks like inside. May be it is even better that it stays like that ...

During the journey we received an sms from the landlord of our rented cabin, that there is still a car parked in front of it. The previous people have lost their car key during their holidays and now have to return to Helsinki to organise a replacement key, before returning and picking-up their car. Imagine how annoying, considering the distances!
