Smile

I was out in the old part of Dubai today and saw this watchtower, dating from about 1840 this is amongst the oldest buildings in Dubai.
It formed part of the defences around the old port area and nearby fort.
I'm not sure how well it would have worked though as it looks far too friendly to ward off any potential attackers.
