Spring Turns to Yellow

Life returns to normal after a fairly hectic week, up and down the country, and the excitement of the car boot sale yesterday. In keeping with the slower day I photographed some of the flowers in the gardens alongside Albyn Place. There are still quite a few crocuses, along side which the daffodils are definitely putting in an appearance now, on what was a sunny and less cold day. I hesitate to use the word "warm" to describe 10 degrees, I would still hesitate even if we had managed 15 degrees. In my dictionary warm starts at about 18 degrees.

Yesterday I happened to watch a programme on TV about the hidden sugar content of various foods and drinks. Consequently I resisted the temptation of a slice of chocolate cake with my coffee (no sugar), and had a fruit tart instead.
