The Great Cottage Garden Clear up!

When I woke up this morning the sun was shining, so I let the office know I wasn't available today and spent the day in the garden having a Spring Clean!!! (it didn't stop them keep calling me though!!!)

Its our 4th Spring in this house and the garden is finally manageable and I was able to get it all done by tea time. Such a great feeling.

I am a little disappointed thought to find alot of the Daffodils I planted a few years ago are flowerless and I have a bed full of just leaves. Can anyone shine some light on why??? 

Managed to get all the rubbish burned  in the chimnea (much the neighbours annoyance Im sure!) then treated my self to a bit of heat with some added logs.

Just made some soup and waiting for Mr W to get home form work so we can snuggle up and have a quiet night in.
