Oklahoma City, OK
I had a drive into Oklahoma City which is about 2 hours away from where I'd been staying over the last few days.
When I got there I spent the afternoon walking through Bricktown towards the Oklahoma City Bombing which happened 20 years ago next month. It was quite a surreal site, and unlike the world trade centre site in New York, that I'd visited about a year ago, it wasn't so much put across as a tourist attraction.
The memorial was very well done and very clean and organised. I was too late to visit the museum, but managed to still walk around the site. It was at the second gate that I took this photo facing towards the first gate.
