Chasing the Sun

Left work with a plan of getting to the moor in time to see the sunset, the sky and clouds looked like it was going to be a perfect one, but another set of roadworks scuppered my plans. 

I could rant.....

Maybe another day....

But 50 minutes later I did manage to get to the moor before it was completely dark and if you look very very closely at this photo you can see the moon is chasing the sun to the horizon, maybe trying to relive the past glories of Friday just gone!

A gorgeous spring day and here's a reminder of what we had 2 years ago on this very day, about 1/4 of a mile from the spot where I took today's photo!
