Sand boarding and dune buggying is essentially the only thing to do in Huacachina (along with visiting it's only bar, 'Huacafuckingchina'). So we booked our trip to the dunes for the afternoon and set off with about 14 other people. Our driver was absolutely mental to say the least, screaming as he flew down aknots vertical drops of sand. The sand boarding itself was even more fun and for most people involved flying down huge 200m dunes lying flat on the board. Jos and I were brave enough to go down all the dunes our driver took us to, even the bloody massive ones, and went home proud of our efforts and covered head to te in sand.
