TAB HUNTER

What a joy to find that Tab Hunter was a surprise guest at the screening of the film Tab Hunter Confidential, at the BFI Flare festival. The film documented Tab's life as a Hollywood movie heart-throb in the 50s, in which he spoke for the first time about his experience of being one of the hottest motion picture stars of the time, and having to keep his homosexuality a secret.
What the film depicted to me, was the story of a multi-talented actor and truly lovely human being, baring his soul to make a a film which is both a precious contribution to gay history   and a testament of love and  trust to those who asked him to do it.
