Back to new orleans

Arrived about midnight but took ages to get to our hotel as everywhere was on shut down due to the machete and shooting incident - stumbled into bed about half one and then up at nine to get downtown to the world famous French quarter for last minute sightseeing before flying later

It was hot and humid today and we even stumbled across a guy who imports bromptons from the UK - he was mad about them and just pleased he had found someone who knew what he was talking about

Flight to Chicago left at six, although nearly without us on it (long story) unbelievably we found out we had been upgraded on journey back to London - this only ever happens when I travel with Mark!
