A new day

I was awake early this morning and was lucky enough to see this beautiful dawn.  I then went back to bed.

I had my gastroscopy yesterday.  Now I just have to wait for the results.  My throat felt quite tender but not as bad as it could have been.  I don't react well to any anaesthetic, even the mildest of doses send me into a deep sleep.  When I was told it would only be a very mild anaesthetic, and I saw a screen I thought I would be able to see what was going on, next thing I knew they were waking me up in recovery.  It also makes me very tired so I spent the rest of the day sleeping and finally woke up properly quite late.  That is OK as I have taken today off as a recovery day. Throat still a bit tender and I am glad I will not have to do much talking , Hope everyone is well.
