Joe

It started with me stalking him, and ended with us chatting. And he gave good chat. As well as that black one, he wears many other hats, the most interesting of which is that of typesetter for Alasdair Gray, the Scottish writer and artist who is notoriously difficult to work with. Joe wrote A Short Tale of Woe after one of their altercations.

If I hadn't had a camera with me, I'd not have struck up that conversation.
I could hardly walk up to a stranger and say "you look like an interesting chap, can you spare me twenty minutes of your time to talk about yourself?". And unlike having a dog, I don't have to clean up after my camera.
