Great Crested Grebes

Getting to grips with my new lens. It's nothing fancy, but means I can take just the one lens when I'm out on my walk. 

A drismul morning. But made brighter by the birds and their songs. The chiff chaffs have arrived, another sign of Spring. I saw a flash of slivery blue as one of the kingfishers flew along the river. And we now have 4 little egrets.
